Deborah Harris

Attended Hebrew University, Jerusalem, Israel; graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Arizona and studied at the University of Guadalajara, Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. Ms. Harris’ exhibitions include the 40th Anniversary Show of the Phoenix Gallery in New York with Red Grooms and Elaine DeKooning; the James A. Michener Art Museum; the Raymond Johnson Gallery/Residence, Albuquerque, New Mexico; International Arts Festival, Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico; Ianuzzi Gallery, Phoenix, Arizona; and solo exhibitions at the Phoenix Gallery in New York. A guest lecturer at the Taos Aesthetics Institute, D. H. Lawrence Ranch, Taos, New Mexico, Deborah Harris lives and works at the Redfleld Studios in Peoria, Arizona.

I want to make paintings that are a celebration of life and cut down on visual pollution.
