Rachael Ellis

Rachael Ellis came to Arizona just after statehood in 1914; a pioneering spirit, artist, and teacher in early Scottsdale. She and her husband began a compound in the 1930’s that has been the saviour and inspiration for many artists and creative endeavors. At Cattletrack Studio, Rachael has produced colorful inventive costumes that have enhanced productions across the country. Fabric collages are an artful spinoff from the costume shop scraps. Rachael and the Ellis family continue to support the arts with the planned construction of more working studio spaces for artists.

Less hype and more product.
